Description:
The Manual type vertical lathe, also known as a vertical turning
center, is a machine tool used for turning and cutting metal
components with high precision and efficiency.
Compare with conventional lathes, which are typically horizontal
and require the workpiece to be mounted on a rotating chuck, a
vertical lathe has a vertical spindle that holds and rotates the
workpiece. The cutting tool is mounted on a tool turret that moves
in multiple axes, allowing for precise and complex machining
operations.
The vertical lathes are widely used in the manufacturing industry
for producing large and heavy components, such as gears, turbines,
and aerospace parts. They are particularly useful for turning
components with a high aspect ratio because the vertical
orientation minimizes the effects of gravity on the workpiece,
reducing the risk of deflection and distortion.
Premium castings, along with domestic Dafang-compatible HT300 grade
components, undergo artificial heat aging to ensure durability.
These castings are not subjected to weight reduction procedures,
thereby maintaining the machine's standard heft and robustness.
As a standard feature, the system includes a dual-axis digital
readout for enhanced precision control.
Both the beam guide and ram guide undergo advanced super audio
quenching (achieving HRC≥50 hardness), while their sliding surfaces
receive plastic treatment (encompassing inclined iron and pressing
plate surfaces). This meticulous finishing preserves product
accuracy over extended periods and extends the maintenance interval
to a minimum of 10 years.
Electrically, the system is managed by a high-performance Japanese
Omron PLC, complemented by top-tier electrical components.
Adherence to CE standards in wiring practices ensures the entire
electrical assembly boasts exceptional reliability.
