Also could manually feeding. the workbench takes along the work pieces making the intermittent horizontal or vertical feed movement. The machine could process plan, groove, dovetail surface ,also could process the forming surface ,and also could cut the work pieces fixed on workbench by the reciprocating motion tool rest .

Metal shaper is mainly used for planning the plane on the small and medium-size workpieces in small batch production of a single piece, forming the surface and grooves.
